Serves: 8-10

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese blend
  • 4 cups lettuce, shredded
  • 2 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 medium green pepper, diced
  • 1 bag fresh tortilla chips from the Ingles Deli

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream and mayonnaise until smooth.
  2. Spread on a 12 to 14 inch pizza pan or serving dish. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, brown beef; drain. Add taco seasoning and tomato sauce; cook and stir for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  4. Spread over cream cheese layer and place back in refrigerator to chill.
  5. Just before serving, sprinkle with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onion and green pepper.
  6. Serve with chips.
